Ahead of World Environment Day tomorrow, we’re excited to launch our latest Sustainability in the Spotlight survey produced in partnership with Diligent. We asked directors how they think ESG will progress over the next 5 years. The results? An astonishing 96% predicted a continued or stronger focus. In Milestone’s 2023 Sustainability Report we seek to highlight our robust and mature sustainability initiatives. In this publication we feature our collaboration with four third-party consultants to improve our analysis and validate our programs. We were honored to collaborate with: - CohnReznick LLP and the New York University Stern School of Business Center of Sustainable Business to further our analysis on value creation through our sustainability initiatives. - BeZero Carbon to conduct deeper analysis on our carbon sequestration process and carbon accounting methodology. - Geosyntec Consultants executed the carbon sequestration data procedures that they developed in 2022 for waste received and managed in 2023. - ESG Lynk was engaged to assist in the alignment of our ESG metrics with SASB standards. It was an honor to work with all of them, and we are grateful for their contribution to Milestone.
