A new approach for young adults facing driving-related charges with no identifiable victim began in Whangārei District Court yesterday. The Young Adult List helps 18- to -25-year-olds understand court processes so they can meaningfully take part in them. It also looks at the root causes of offending, connecting offenders to services that address those causes, to help stop reoffending. How do I transfer my County Court Judgment over £600 to the High Court for enforcement? This is an easy process and all High Court Enforcement Officers provide the service of transferring County Court Judgments to the High Court for enforcement. You can discuss your options and any associated charges for this service with your appointed High Court Enforcement Officer, or browse our member’s list to find a High Court Enforcement Officer. You can also transfer the case yourself by filling in the relevant forms and submitting them to the court. However, we would recommend speaking to your High Court Enforcement Officer before choosing this option as the court will return any incorrect forms which could delay the recovery process. You will need to pay a court fee of £78.00 whether you transfer up yourself or the High Court Enforcement Officer does this for you, which is not related to the High Court Enforcement Officer’s fees. #Enforcement #Collections #CourtService

CYFA works to change systems. Our Youth Peer Court (YPC) is part of the solution by removing entry points into the juvenile legal system through pre-charge youth diversion based in restorative justice. CYFA's restorative framework allows young people who have engaged in wrongdoing to have community-based opportunities to take actionable accountability for the harm they have caused and avoid system involvement. https://lnkd.in/eQkVQMRm
