A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in our media seminar on managing medicine shortages last week! 🙏 This was the first event of its kind hosted by EMA - An occasion for European regulators, including the European Commission and EU in Emergencies to engage directly with journalists from across the EU. Together, we explored what Europe does to manage medicine shortages and the critical role of good reporting in shortage situations. When it comes to health crises, communication is not just important—it’s essential. The media plays a pivotal role in shaping the behaviour of patients, consumers and even healthcare professionals, ensuring the right information reaches those who need it most.
