Attended the PBSS workshop on Human #MassBalance and #MetaboliteProfiling Studies in San Francisco yesterday. Interesting talks by experts from Industry and #FDA. The workshop perfectly covered the strategies, technical approaches (including microtracer AMS), regulatory guidance, applications and case studies. The event was organized by Chandra Prakash, chaired by Shichang Miao and ended with a vibrant Panel Discussion. Key learnings from Jing’s presentation will be: • Self-assembling drug XPro159 is challenging for standard ADA format like Bridging or ACE • Presentation of a novel format, ACE-AG, designed to solve the problem • The format mitigated the high background from the self-assembly of the drug and provided excellent sensitivity.
