Cities Research Institute’s Post

🐦 Winter BirdWalk 🐦 On a crisp winter morning, ten enthusiastic bird watchers gathered for a delightful Toohey Forest bird walk, led by our resident ecologist and bird expert, PhD candidate Christopher Johnson, along with part-time twitcher Prof Cara Beal. 🦉 The chilly weather didn’t ruffle any feathers as our keen-eyed group spotted a variety of bird species, from kookaburras to striated pardalotes. It was truly a walk to crow about! We can’t wait for more opportunities to celebrate and explore the incredible biodiversity right in our backyard. Stay tuned for future birdwatching events! 🐤🌳 #BirdWatching #TooheyForest #NathanCampus #GriffithUniversity #CitiesResearchInstitute #PhD #HDR
