Great points about mental health and the use of technology... but maybe not in the way you'd expect. Do make time to listen to this podcast - there were loads of highlights for me: - The stress put on those struggling with mental health in discussing their issues as part of mental health events or promotions, and how common those issues are: 1 in 4 people have a diagnosable mental health condition, over 70% of people are stressed to the extent that they sometimes feel unable to cope. ( Aren't you/we all doing a good job of masking 🙂 ) - There's great insights on how to handle this using technology, and some really informed points on where that technology provides a better solution than humans as it depersonalises the treatment. Also on how useful immersive environments can be here. One particular point on that - Claire Barnett saying that VR experiences stayed with participants for over three years because "they'd lived it", which echoes my emphasis on gaming situations; there's something with humans that means being in control of an interactive story helps with retention and learning and so much more than being told about a technique, or reading about a technique or situation.
