Stop asking for candidates with "longevity on their CV" 🤦♂️ Especially for project-based roles in data centre and pharma construction. Project-based roles typically guarantee only 1-2 years of work. Why would you expect the candidates for your roles to have stayed longer than this at each of their previous roles if that’s all you can offer them?! If you're hiring for long-term, office or region-based roles, sure, look for longevity. But for a 1-2 year project, asking for more is unrealistic. If you get someone who's going to stay with your from project to project - awesome! But don't expect that everyone will do this, and if you can't guarantee continuity of work then don't expect people with a history of staying with one company to apply.
