WELCOME TO THE COV, PARADISE EVENT CENTER! Mayor Pro Tem/Commissioner Ron Washington welcomed Paradise Event Center to Covington yesterday at a ribbon cutting ceremony. Located at 807 Madison Ave., Paradise Event Center will be a venue for baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, engagement parties, anniversaries, holiday parties, repasses, spiritual events, seminars, and more. The center will accommodate between 40 and 50 guests. "You've got Zapata, San Miguel's, and Upper Kutz here. This is a happening block here in Covington. I'm so glad you're here." Young said her business was founded with the belief that every event should be a memorable experience. "Our vision is to create unique and innovative events that exceed our clients' expectations and leave a lasting impression," said Young. "Covington is a beautiful city with a historic background. This city has offered a welcoming atmosphere for my business and customers to enjoy. I believe that Covington is the ideal location for my business to grow and thrive." On Saturday, Oct. 12, Paradise Event Center will host its grand opening from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
