My name is Mike Mooneyham. I am a licensed professional engineer, so I'm a project manager primarily. So I handle project delivery and project management for the city. I'm working on the senior activity center. I am working on Fire Station 12, Fire Station 10, New 911, Call Center and South Beach Park. We work with our partner departments, it's fire department, Police Department and Parks Department to develop project scope. Develop project schedules and budgets, and then once everything is defined, I work with the consultants to kind of manage that project through all the processes. Develop schematic drawings, construction drawings, and then prepare to go out to bid. My biggest win is the demolition of the Vons building, paving the way for the Senior Center. Sometimes it feels like it may take a while to get there, but in reality, you know you're hitting a lot of different milestones. Half of my projects are projects that will directly affect the residents and then the other half is like the infrastructure stuff like fire stations, the police call center. Knowing that you're making an impact like that, it's. It is huge like that. Vaughn sat there empty, vacant for 10 years or something. And it's going to be this beautiful Senior Center. Now that's going to get a lot of use. It's it's going to be pretty, pretty awesome. These projects like knowing that eventually there will be a Senior Center or a Peach park or a fire station, you know, that's, that's pretty cool.

Oh “Hi” over there 👈🏼 It’s revealed! Our Washington County Strategic Plan. This 5-year Plan is the impetus to real change. Some may look at Strategic plans and have doubts on there effectiveness. A plan is only as good as its practice. I know that as a Commissioner and that’s why we are going to #slay in providing #demur government service. This is where we as a County thrive, bringing goals into proactive steps with meaningful measures and success outcomes. We are pushing forward and meeting our constituents, businesses, cities, townships and stakeholders needs. Meeting people where they are and focusing on helping them navigate their journey through our vast government services.
