🌟 Weekly Round-Up: Celebrating Achievements, Inspiring Future Generations, and Advancing Infrastructure! 🌟 This week in Memphis was marked by impactful events and significant progress: Strategic Investment: The Housing and Community Development (HCD) Awards recognized thirty-three agencies with approximately $5.5 million through the FY25 Strategic Community Investment Fund, supporting vital community projects and initiatives. 💵🏘️ Future Architects: Kids from the 901 Grind Arts and Architecture Camp were inspired by Mayor Young, who encouraged them to bring their talents back to Memphis after finishing school, nurturing the next generation of innovators. 🏛️✏️ Crisis Intervention Training: Congratulations to the 31 graduates of the 105th Crisis Intervention Class! These officers and first responders completed 40 hours of intensive training to better handle mental health crises with empathy and expertise. 🚓🧠 Bring Your Child to Work Day: The Working Parents ERG hosted the City of Memphis Annual Bring Your Child to Work Day, with children visiting Mayor Young’s office and experiencing a day in local government. 👨👩👧👦🏛️ Building Bridges: The proposed I-55 bridge project aims to replace the 75-year-old structure, enhancing safety, route resiliency, and maintaining a state of good repair. This vital infrastructure will support approximately 64,000 vehicles daily, facilitating travel between Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi by 2050. 🚧🌉 Join us in celebrating these milestones and the ongoing dedication to improving our city and community! 🎉👏 #MemphisProgress #CommunityInvestment #FutureGenerations #Infrastructure
