Earlier today, the City and Government of Canada announced a partnership to fund the extension of the West Toronto Railpath multi-use trail that will connect us to new areas of the city. The project will see the existing trail doubled in length, with an additional two kilometres of trail extending south from Dundas Street W at Sterling Rd to Abell St at Sudbury St, as well as the construction of four new pedestrian-cycle bridges. Quite a story it’s taken 16 years to get the rest of the Railpath approved.
