An SAP needs a minimum of 2 AP's… Placed a team of 2 AP's & SAP in Sweden in May, and so only really got to understand the implications of this 👆 until very recently. (For context, this is a midsize project and it’s a team that know each other well, and worked together many times before, and the AP's could work the rotations between themselves to make sure always 1 AP on site). A question I DIDN'T ask when I took the SAP requirement was how many AP's are on the job already 🙈 Something I will never, not ask again. Interestingly been working with some new European contractors who are new to bigger electrical packages, so its been helpful to arm them with the right knowledge to try and keep people safe on site. One thing I've learnt from speaking with a lot of AP and SAP's these last 7 months is being an AP/SAP it isn't just about your knowledge... It's also the understanding of the knock-on effects of the work you do on a daily basis and how critical it is to the safety of others on site.
