𝐇𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐢: 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 The future of business transcends geography. As digital transformation reshapes global markets, Hawaii stands uniquely positioned at the intersection of East and West - not just in location, but in perspective and possibility. My journey leading transformations across North America and Asia-Pacific has revealed a powerful truth: the most successful businesses aren't limited by location, but empowered by connection. Today, Hawaii has an unprecedented opportunity to leverage this reality. When we combine technological capability with cultural authenticity, we create something remarkable - businesses that can reach global markets while strengthening local communities. This isn't just about adoption; it's about adaptation and growth that preserves what makes our businesses unique. What role do you see Hawaii playing in the future of Pacific innovation? How can we turn our geographic position into a competitive advantage? #GlobalInnovation #HawaiiTech #FutureOfBusiness #DigitalTransformation

How we talk about Containers for Change matters. Last Friday, we featured a Lunar New Year advert in The West Australian as part of their dedicated feature on the celebration. WARRRL has been exploring different ways to connect with multicultural communities across Western Australia in a way that feels familiar and meaningful. Whether that’s through language, cultural traditions, or the way we describe how to return your 10¢ containers. We worked with CultureVerse to ensure our messaging not only translates but truly resonates. #containersforchangewa #containersforchange #containerdepositscheme

🎓 Thrilled to have presented my final master's project, Exploring the Potential of Changi's Nighttime Economy: Evaluating Demand and Strategic Planning for Dynamic Nighttime Development, on August 13, alongside my talented teammates Judah Yosia W, Khairi Bedin, Nirubhama Venkata, under the expert guidance of Dr. Yunjing Li. This research delves into the untapped potential of Singapore's Changi region, which, despite its significant infrastructural development, remains underutilized at night. Our analysis incorporates stakeholder insights, spatial-temporal dynamics, and successful global NTE models to identify gaps in current planning strategies. By highlighting Changi's unique assets and challenges, we propose a phased, demand-driven approach for developing a vibrant, sustainable Night-Time Economy. Climate change is accelerating in scale, frequency and intensity, impacting quality of life and limiting access to fresh air and healthy lifestyles for billions in urban areas. The cities of the future will need to navigate complex trade-offs such as air pollution, industrial development and sustainable protein sources. This new instalment of our #DiverseVoices series explores what it will take to ensure cities remain livable spaces for generations to come. 🌏 #RoadTo2029 #SpatialJustice
🌆 What will it take to ensure cities remain livable spaces? Urban areas house half the world’s population on just 3% of habitable land. How do we ensure cities thrive sustainably? Raja Asvanon from SEI Asia tackles this in our #DiverseVoices series, exploring the trade-offs between industrial growth, clean air, rethinking protein consumption and advancing spatial justice for equitable urban spaces. His work blends environmental, health and social sciences to create inclusive cities built for generations to come. 🎥 Watch Raja’s story and stay tune to meet more changemakers shaping our #RoadTo2029. #LivableCities #ClimateTransition #SocialJustice #JustTransition #Urbanization #CleanAir #ProteinConsumption #Asia

#MorningRead I am in the middle of a GenZ focused project, thus researching signals of change and visioning possible futures about needs and expectations of the young generation. And I read today in a Chinese focused paper the following insights and found them quite intriguing: 🌀 "Chinese youth are seeking rejuvenation and spiritual healing in parks, with the hashtag “20-minute park effect” gaining over 131 million views on social media. 🌀 China aims to expand the number of urban green spaces, with Shanghai planning to open about 200 parks in the next year. 🌀 Many young Chinese report that spending time in parks improves their mood and overall well-being, reflecting a shift towards slower living amid intense work conditions. 🌀 Brands can leverage the popularity of parks to engage with consumers in a relaxed, spacious environment, which can positively influence perceptions of the brand. 🌀Beyond hosting activities and pop-ups in parks, brands should center their messaging around Chinese consumers’ desire for quiet, wellness, and a reconnection to nature." (Jing Daily full article⤵) What do you think about these emerging signals and their implications for the #FutureOfWork? #Foresight #futureStation #FutureToday
