Another way that Civils.ai's GenAI tool helps me is in searching of drawings. Not having to sieve through LTA's SDRE or project drawings manually cuts down the time spent on that which can be better used on something else!
Another feature that Gen. AI helps me in my day-to-day work is to reduce my time in searching for details. Often I find myself taking so much time to look for details which can be found in LTAS, SDRI or the project's typical details. This is very menial work which takes up my time from doing something else. In this example I am looking for a detail of a bollard. Instead of trawling through the SDI, I just put a prompt into Civil's AI and they show me where all the details are. I can then click through the various drawings to look at the original drawing to see if it is suitable. In this other example for an inhouse design project, I put the typical detail drawings into Civil's AI. The contractor asked in an RFI where the hanger column detail was. I could search for the detail just using a prompt and quickly replied the RFI. Of course, the ideal future scenario would be that the contractor has access to Civil's AI as well to do their own search, which will save everyone time. For them in searching and raising the RFI, and for the consultant in searching and responding to the RFI.

1moVery awesome to see CAD AI in action 🙌 I agree if contractors had access to all the standard details it would save them a lot of time!
