🚨 Rising Synthetic Opioid Use: Advanced Detection Systems🚨 The recent news of nearly 300 lives lost to super-strength synthetic opioids, Nitazenes, in the UK is a stark reminder of the devastating impact these drugs can have on our communities. With such potent substances on the rise, the urgent warning issued by police officials highlights the critical need for effective intervention. Advanced MS detection systems, like the MX908 (HP/MS) and G510X (GC/MS) and similar technologies such as Raman the Rigaku NARC ID, could play a pivotal role in saving lives by identifying these dangerous substances before they reach the streets. Systems like these can detect such substances within a few minutes and can provide safety for First Responders and the community. If you would like further information on the instruments please contact us via our website in the link below. https://lnkd.in/egzHYx-N #Opioid #PublicSafety #DetectionTechnology #CommunityHealth

A webinar about the scientific journey of a team of engineers and scientists to proove the importance of #ventilation and air distribution in the #airborne transmission of respiratory #pathogens. Very well presented by Prof. Lidia Morawska of QUT (Queensland University of Technology), the webinar is held by Prof. Giorgio BUONANNO of Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale, and explains the statistical model used for #aerosol dynamics and infection risk, going through the important findings coming from the famous case study conducted in a group of 300 #schools using #MVHR systems in #Marche region in #Italy, but also giving some very interesting hints on potential #virus spread inside a small #indoor #cabin like a #car, and finally - starting from min 31 - introducing the next generation, patented personal air treatment device, studied, developped and prototyped to protect a person from short range infected aerosol, in any, generic, short range social gatherings. --> See the webinar and learn, additionally, how Giorgio Buonanno prooved to be a good pizza maker as well: for Lidia Morawska, the best "pizzaiolo" ever! 😀 #IAQ #IndoorAirQuality #PersonalAirCleaner #ShortRangeInfectionRisk #HVAC #VMC #AirExchange #AirFiltration #AirDistribution

LongCOVID: Our study from the IMPACC cohort explores patient-reported recovery data for COVID-19 and tracks outcomes from acute infection to one year post-hospital discharge. We identified factors and immune profiles from the acute phase linked to impaired clinical and functional recovery during the subsequent year. #covid19 #longcovid #scicomm
