Clear Path Employee Spotlight! This week Clear Path Utility Solutions would like to recognize Evan Stone from our San Diego team for his significant contributions to Clear Path operations and client relationships. Evan has been with Clear Path since September of 2023 and had 3 years of UVM experience prior to coming to our company. Evan also has a Bachelors degree in Forestry from Northern Arizona University and a certificate in Fire Ecology & Management. Evan has been instrumental in starting up our San Diego team and keeping them running smoothly & safely. He also played a key part in developing a Power BI dashboard at the request of our client. This dashboard is a live document that takes Clear Path Auditor generated input and outputs a schedule tracking and audit results based dashboard the client can access. It is a great tool for quickly identifying schedule progress, trends, and audit results for the vegetation management work the Clear Path team reviews in the field. Great work Evan and thank you for being a valued member of the Clear Path team!

🔧OUR APPROACH AT ACR: Improved forest management Learn about how ACR issues credits in the forestry sector and the need for high confidence that project actions exceed those that would have occurred without the project activity and without carbon market incentives. In an update to our Improved Forest Management (IFM) on Non-Federal U.S. Forestlands methodology, ACR has increased the precision of its requirements for developing and evaluating conservative baseline scenarios. The methodology provides assurance of the climate impact of forest management practices across the full range of organizations using the ACR methodology, from investment management organizations to conservation NGOs. Impact advisor; Advises on applying research, scaling Innovation for improving natural resources, NbSs and conservation as well as understanding sustainability issues in natural resource supply chain commodities.
….The project (Pantadon Valley) was part of the Asia Forest Network, one of those sites the Philippine Working Group of AFN visited to see community forestry policy in action on the ground, to inform its design, rather than design policy in a room, out of context and expect it to work. AFN brought many different forest users together with policy makers and government officials, or as we could refer to them now as change agents. That’s perhaps a less familiar term but I will explain later. Most policy get created, or developed then its implemented, but occasionally you get the chance to develop the policy from pilots or even from practice. AFN enabled ideas to be shared between and with different community forestry policy professionals and forest users, so each could learn about how policy was being interpreted or implemented on the ground. “what’s working, what’s not” was a key analytical framing. The Filipino NGO, ESSC, that I was working with developed and honed a series of participatory GIS technics, again where catchments were the starting point for understanding what was happening in the landscape and what resources there were and what had changed, culturally, physically and politically. Water catchments being the key to unlock an understanding of cultural biodiversity abundance patterns.
