Giving comes in many forms. We are excited to have artist Mo Willems’ creations come to life on main campus. Some of Mo’s popular characters now cover the construction fencing outside Cleveland Clinic Children’s as we build our new Neurological Institute building. Patients and visitors at our children’s outpatient center can enjoy the vibrant artwork when they look out the window. The Art Collection team facilitated this artwork because Mo's characters are so recognizable. The characters also depict various feelings from glee to frustration, which the Art Collection team thinks will resonate with patients who experience many emotions throughout their care. #clevelandclinic #GivingDoesGood

Sports Rehab & Performance Physical Therapist. I help high achievers stay in the game and get back to doing what they love at a high level
A message for physical therapy clinic owners: (I'm gonna do something unpopular on social media; I'm going to defend two generations other than my own...) Gen Z is the future of our profession. Like it or not, they will start filling our workforce, and there are just as many driven, forward-thinking individuals in their generation as in previous ones. Boomers? Yes they are a huge population you serve, and yes they're aging. They're also adaptable and can be expected to get with the times. An energized, enthusiastic staff creates an environment where patients can show up and not dread physical therapy. They can enter a fun, collaborative, maybe even exciting environment fired up to get better Trust me, the older folks will get past the visible tattoos, hip hop playing, the decor, etc. as soon as they recognize the energy and the engagement in your clinic. Iniect a youthful vibe into your clinic and watch your culture and community flourish Death to the boring DMV-vibes clinic. And yes, the millenial grey

Hello LinkedIn Family, This is my first time utilizing this platform! I am excited to share the first official post while pursuing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. For my Evidence-Based Practice course, I researched a topic I felt was personal to me. My exposure to Cerebral Palsy was pretty early in my childhood due to my then-foster brother, now adopted little brother, being diagnosed. One of the interventions that created a positive impact was Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy! Attached below is my CAT. Please leave your thoughts and comments! 😀 #SPT #physicaltherapy #CAT #evidencebased #cerebralpalsy #healthcare #future

Do old-school analog approaches still work today? Let’s find out! 👀 I’ve just put up a bulk of flyers around UWE campuses, including the Frenchay M-bus stop, hoping to catch the eyes of clinicians, people facing anxiety disorders, and informal carers (like family members) to join the co-design journey of my PhD project. 🚀 This project is focused on developing an effective, engaging, and privacy-secure platform to analyse emotional data over time for people with anxiety disorders. The goal is to enhance self-awareness and improve communication between patients, clinicians, and carers. 📢 Please feel free to share the link below if someone you know might be interested in shaping this innovative tool with us: https://lnkd.in/dUi7wSBV #HealthInnovation #MentalHealth #CoDesign #HealthTech #UWEBristol

Arizona Paves the Way for Physical Therapists: Last week, Arizona set a new benchmark for the physical therapy profession with updated legislation. Physical therapists in the state may have the authority to order all imaging for musculoskeletal diagnostics—a privilege signed by the Governor. (pending 90 day period after thr governor signed) This landmark decision not only elevates the state of Arizona but also propels the entire physical therapy profession into a new era of autonomy and responsibility. “Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection.” - Mark Twain This move by Arizona is a critical position and sets an example for other states. This demonstrates a relentless pursuit of excellence in healthcare. Resistance is inevitable, but it is through continuous education and dialogue that we will elucidate the significance of this advancement. "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams," -Eleanor Roosevelt. It is incumbent upon each of us to support this movement, to educate our communities. Congratulations Arizona #physicaltherapy #education #healthcare #imaging
