German startup Sunfire, led by Nils Aldag, has secured €500m in Series E financing, including equity, debt, and grants, to expand its green hydrogen production technology. This funding comprises €215m in equity from investors such as LGT Private Banking, GIC, Ahren Innovation Capital, and Carbon Equity, along with €200m in grants and €100m in debt from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
