If you take care of your team they will take care of you! We were out providing refreshments on this hot & humid day. 1:1’s are crucial to our safety outcome. Although, we are not where we want to be, being out in the field coaching our employees is a start! When you’re out trying to beat this heat and have a momentum going it’s easy to forget the importance of hand placement. Supervisor Gary lending a hand and making sure our employees are pushing rather than pulling and using the handle rather than the trunion bar to avoid injury! #MtLaurelNJ #safetyfirst #oneonone

What role does communications play in times of uncertainty and change? “Under extreme uncertainty, people tend to… catastrophize, filling a communications void with negative chatter, distorted interpretations, dire predictions, and fatalistic scenarios.” It’s times like these that truly strategic, authentic and frequent internal communications will have the most impact on employee engagement, motivation and wellbeing. #uncertainty #strategiccomms #employeeengagement #internalcomms

https://lnkd.in/daeAps3e DEDICATION IS TO BE CALCULATED It takes an individualized understanding of each employee’s motivations to promote happiness. One person might be looking for cutting-edge technical work whereas another might prefer a pathway to managing people. Leaders need to educate themselves on what employees want to achieve and work with each employee to reach those goals.

"While the leader has little to no control over the external competitive environment, they have astonishing influence over the internal performance environment, including employee engagement, morale, and productivity. How can leaders help their people flourish during extreme uncertainty?" Hey everyone! 🌟 Just came across this fantastic article by Timothy R. Clark about what employees need from leaders in uncertain times, and I couldn't agree more! 🤝 As an HR generalist, I've seen firsthand the power of these strategies in action. One additional point I'd add is the importance of fostering a sense of community and camaraderie within the organization. 🤝 During challenging times, coming together as a team can provide a much-needed support system and boost morale. I remember a time when a previous employer faced a major restructuring. Instead of allowing fear and uncertainty to divide us, our leaders encouraged open dialogue and collaboration. We organized team-building activities, shared personal stories of resilience, and leaned on each other for support. This sense of unity not only helped us navigate the turbulent waters but also strengthened our bonds as a team. In times of adversity, building a strong sense of community can truly make all the difference! 💪 #UnityInAdversity 🚀
