Scarcity of vaccines (and other drugs) in LMICs is not just about financial constraints. Many other factors, including limited domestic production facilities, poor infrastructure for storage and distribution, and a shortage of trained healthcare workers, all play a role in limiting patients' access to essential healthcare. In the fall of 2021, Denmark's largest TV station DR, showed the citizen-made critical WHO documentary “Behind The Facade of Global Health” about the corruption that took place in 2009 regarding the H1N1 swine flu, where just a few weeks before WHO declared H1N1 a pandemic, they changed the definition of what a pandemic was (from alot of sick and deaths, to the present, more infected than normal). In the documentary, you will also see that it was the people that worked in the pharmaceutical industry, who sat on the WHO's secret committee, which recommended the pandemic declaration, which the pharmaceutical industry subsequently profited from, due to the agreements made in advance between the pharmaceutical industry and the world's health authorities, that if WHO declares a pandemic, the Health authoritys around The World, are required to buy the vaccines, which is subsequently “approved” for the purpose. 🔬 At the 2024 State of the Science Summit organized by UC Davis CLEAR Center, Paul Wood discussed groundbreaking research on methane-reducing vaccines. 🐄 Despite numerous projects, there are still few publications available.
