[ACTUALITÉ] Retour sur l'atelier d'experts "Accès Précoces" organisé par la Filière Intelligence Artificielle & Cancers vendredi 26 avril ! 🤝 C'est sous un format inédit d’ateliers de travail réunissant des experts publics et privés (industriels de la santé, représentants de patients, autorités de santé et pour moitié des participants, des start-ups et licornes en IA) que la Filière IA & Cancers a organisé une première session sur la thématique des accès précoces ce vendredi 26 avril. Ce format, largement propice aux échanges, a permis de mieux comprendre les défis actuels perçus par la communauté d’acteurs impliquée dans les accès précoces, pour mieux les adresser et renforcer encore l'attractivité de cet outil unique en France, qui permet un accès accéléré aux innovations pour les patients. ➡ Parmi les défis à relever, celui d'accélérer, de simplifier et de fiabiliser la collecte des données de suivi d'accès précoces pour les valoriser à la hauteur de leur potentiel pour les patients, les cliniciens, les industriels et les autorités de santé. Pour l’adresser, la Filière IA & Cancers se lance dans le montage d’un projet multipartenaire et partagera prochainement deux cahiers des charges à destination des innovateurs : ✅ le premier focalisé sur une remontée des données par des outils innovants d'IA ; ✅ le deuxième avec le patient comme acteur central de la collecte de données. Par ces deux approches complémentaires, le projet vise une remontée des données d'accès précoce avec une qualité significativement améliorée par rapport aux pratiques actuelles. ClinSearch welcomes another Medical & Scientific Advisor, Maria Bernarda Requena, to the team this month to meet growing demand in Methodology and Statistics. Bernarda is a Primary Care Physician with a MSc in Public Health and a PhD in Epidemiology. She has extensive experience conducting epidemiological studies in the field of Infectious Diseases with teams and populations from Sub-Saharan Africa, Canada, and various European countries including France. She also has experience with survival analyses and statistical modeling in epidemiological research through work on the mortality of people living with HIV/Hepatitis C, and on the evaluation of longitudinal markers of chronic disease in Hepatitis C. Bernarda speaks English, French and Spanish, and has prior clinical experience in South America.

Jean-Damien is a medical scientist (MD Public Health, MSc Biostatistics & PhD Epidemiology) who has been working for over 10 years at the International Agency for Research on Cancer / World Health Organization, as well as lecturing in biomedical research methods for more than 15 years. His areas of expertise include various non-communicable and communicable diseases, biomarkers research, and he has extensive experience in design, implementation and coordination of research projects in low- and high-resource settings. Jean-Damien speaks English, French and Japanese, and has previously worked as a physiotherapist, bringing a wholistic approach to healthcare and research.
