Meet Rob Krommendam. He joined the CLS team in 2017 and took a lot of HR specialism with him. Rob: “I have an extensive HR background in process and chemical industry. After working as an interim HR manager in several transition processes at large companies as well as leading projects as a consultant in agri/food, I met René and Jan Paul. We immediately had a connection. Their willingness to go the extra mile for customers and candidates and their knowledge of the job market in their field was decisive for me to add my expertise to the CLS team. Dedicated to Excellence for me means: listening very well to our customers, how we can respond to their recruitment needs. Even when the needs are not crystal clear yet. We are happy to help out in creating realistic and appealing job profiles. We offer recruitment of BSc+ candidates and secondment. Yet our most appreciated added value is that we know the industry and the candidates very well. We know what they expect from candidates, know the drill of projects and processes and talk in their beta language. Our large network enables us to match the right person to the job. We care about people, feel our responsibility for talent that we attract, even after a project has finished. We go for the long run, don’t want to settle for less.” Rob is always willing to get to know new people, so send him a connection request on LinkedIn or mail him. Or contact Jan Paul Favier or René Kemps. #dedicatedtoexcellence #clsservices #lifesciences #chemistry

The Plastics Recruiter® Helping the Plastics Industry's Best Managers Rise to the TOP of the Industry by Building Amazing Teams
The plastics industry is facing a talent shortage as seasoned professionals retire and new technologies emerge. Many job seekers have outdated perceptions of the industry, viewing it as old-fashioned or lacking opportunity. In reality, plastics companies are innovators, driving advancements in materials science, sustainability, and manufacturing. To attract top talent, we need to showcase the exciting work and rewarding careers we offer. This means getting creative with recruitment strategies, such as partnering with universities, offering internships, and tapping into non-traditional talent pools. We must also emphasize the benefits of working in plastics, including groundbreaking projects, collaboration with brilliant minds, and the chance to make a real impact. By highlighting these opportunities and investing in employee development, we can create a compelling value proposition for top performers. Attracting talent is only half the battle; we must also create a company culture that engages and retains our best and brightest. This means fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered. By prioritizing employee well-being, work-life balance, and ongoing learning, we can build loyal, high-performing teams. Bridging the skills gap won't happen overnight, but by rethinking our approach to talent acquisition and investing in our people, we can position the plastics industry for a bright future. Hi Assalamualaikum Ive been through some interviews lately after I resigned my previous job which I only worked for 7 months (Early May 2023 - End of Dec 2023) right after I completed my industrial training for 4 months (Early Jan 2023 - End of April 2023). Basically, I would say my working experience in the industry and any other role related is 1 year but there are some questions during the interview that I dont know how to give the right answer. For example: 1. Pengalaman awak tak banyak, macam mana saya nak hire awak? -I did told my strengths and skills but maybe I did some mistakes 2. Kenapa awak tak apply kerja yang kena dengan bidang awak? (which is Chemical Engineering) -but what I did apply is like positions in the manufacturing industry such as Production Assistant, etc. It's because my previous job is in manufacturing industry and I could say that I know almost everything about other positions' responsibilities, just I need to be explained how it works in more detail, then I can do the job already. So my concern is, how do I need to react when I get this kind of questions and how can I demand for salary when the interviewer asks for previous pay slip? I really hope you give me some tips by commenting for this post. Thank you so much! #kerja #kerjakosong #tips #interview #interviewtips #freshgraduate #freshers
