Earlier this week the United States Golf Association (USGA)hosted it's final Town Hall for 2024. A few stats and key takeaways shared by CEO, Mike Whan. 137 million Americans consuming and playing the game of golf in 2024. This is +12% vs. 2023. 47 million Americans playing golf, which is +13 million since 2019. And another 23 million, currently not playing, express high interest in playing the game. +1.5 million more golfers played golf on a green grass golf course in 2024 vs. 2023. And course play is 72% Public vs. 28% Private. Growth Driven by three segments: Women, Juniors, People of Color. These segments combined are +40% over the last 5 years. The latest edition of GBQ is now live! FAQ: What if we do not have enough participants for each event? Not a problem! You are not required to have the maximum amount of participants compete in each event, and you are not required to compete in each event. In addition, the participants that do compete will still have their points counted. However, if you're goal is to win, you want to compete in each event and have the maximum number of participants.
