Outcome-driven professional with extensive experience enabling achievement of full business potential through comprehensive sales leadership and marketing management.
Today was a proud parenting moment for me as I taught my youngest daughter the art of door knocking. Her mission? Selling chocolates for a school fundraiser. Here are four valuable tips I shared with her: - Smile - Look the person in their eyes - Be confident - Assume the sale I am thrilled to share that after knocking on 4 doors, she successfully closed the deal at all 4! The power of positivity and confidence truly pays off. 🍫🚪 #FundraiserSuccess #ParentingWin #PowerOfCoaching

this is when you hire really smart and dedicated people.
A wise mentor once said “meet the donor where they are”. It was a privilege to present a braille proposal to a supporter of our major gift program in Nashville recently. For over 86 years we’ve been able bring people of all walks of life from all across the country to Edmundite Missions. In recent years our programs have elevated our clients through insurmountable ways. Our continued impact in the black belt communities is only beginning….Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP Global) AFP Miami - The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Miami chapter Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Palm Beach Chapter https://lnkd.in/dGecywrZ

Seriously, Saurin Parikh, MBA and NJEDA not only have the resources, but the literal desire to help small businesses grow! I know that when I'm ready to make a move, I'll be contacting Suarin, a stand-up guy, to discuss how the NJEDA can help support my plans. You should do the same! #busines #businessdevelopment #njeda #loans #grants

I was disappointed this morning to wake up to a reminder that Fearless Fund is still amidst a lawsuit because they’ve provided grant opportunities to Black women. And it’s time to sound the alarm. 🚨📣 These types of lawsuits are incredibly dangerous, and we’ve already seen the aftermath of recent affirmative action decisions give companies and organizations the wiggle room to start to remove valuable programs and resources that could grow and advance black and brown communities. 🌱✨ Only 50% of companies survive after 5 years in business. That survival rate is 3% for Black women owned businesses given the same time frame. The reality is Black women owned businesses need additional resources to have a fighting chance for survival. 💸✊🏾 Watch the video below. Share with your community. And contribute financially, if you can, to any efforts surrounding this issue. Our work is far from done in creating equitable access for business owners. 💖 Watch here: https://lnkd.in/gWxVVFev Donate here: https://lnkd.in/gMDiVdCY
