I had the privilege of attending the ,,Laza Nyakkendő Meetup” at Mixát in Budapest, and wow—what an experience! From the open mic with Péter and Márton to the insightful networking sessions, every moment was packed with inspiration and opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals. One of the most exciting aspects of the event was the open dialogue centered around the topic of “to stay or to go.” We gained insights from many new perspectives, and what truly broke the mold was that anyone with something to add could simply walk up to the third microphone. This led to some truly impactful and deep conversations. One of my key takeaways? The realization that I'm closer to understanding when it's worth sticking it out and when it's time to leave the toxic workplace that I've been reflecting on a lot lately. I'm also beyond excited to share that I’m gearing up for the upcoming 6th Onlife Bootcamp a 10 month journey of growth and transformation. This is the real deal when it comes to professional development, and I’m determined to give it my all to secure a spot in this prestigious program. After all, true growth happens when we push ourselves beyond our limits, and that’s exactly what I intend to do. Two super simple things that will make your meeting more interesting 😛 ❗ Important: we are talking about a meeting where you will be presenting new information that listeners should absorb — workshops, kick-offs, meetups. 1️⃣ Create a short survey on the topic you're presenting. 5-6 questions will be quite enough. Launch it 10-15 minutes before the meeting and allocate 2-3 minutes at the beginning for everyone to complete it. 🤔 Have you ever encountered this topic? 🤔Do you have experience? 🤔Do you know the difference between A and B? 🤔Do you understand the purpose of this meeting? 🎉 These questions will allow you to understand your audience, whether the audience understands the purpose of the meeting, and what they will get at the end. 2️⃣ At the end of the meeting, send a second survey with questions: did you like the meeting, did the topic become clear? Do you now know the difference? What was missing? Be sure to ask everyone to complete the survey and remind them about it again the next day. 🎁 People's engagement will show how interesting it was.
