"It's not enough to be a disruptive technology, we've got to disrupt the entire system." It is estimated that 80% of all plastic ever produced has ended up in landfill or the natural environment. Sustainability on the road, life below water! With our new sustainability label Autoneum Blue, we are combining the use of recycled materials with protecting the oceans and social responsibility. Autoneum Blue is a continuation of the former LABEL blue by Borgers®. Following the acquisition of Borgers Automotive in April this year, we have now fully integrated the label into our sustainable product portfolio. Autoneum Blue components are based on materials that consist of at least 30% recycled PET that was collected from coastal areas, thus contributing to preventing plastic pollution in the oceans. A socially responsible collection process of the PET bottles and traceable procurement of the flakes round off the picture. Autoneum Blue complements our existing sustainability label Autoneum Pure, presenting another example of our ongoing efforts and continuous strides towards a sustainable circular economy.
