Have you ever had that experience where you’re excited about a job opportunity, only to find out it’s been changed to in-person just when you thought it was a done deal? 🤔 I recently had a conversation about this with some friends, and it seems like it’s happening more and more these days. Just in the last couple of months, I’ve had half a dozen staffing agencies contact me about remote positions. But then, out of nowhere, they're saying, "Oh, actually the company has decided they want in-person candidates instead." I mean, really? Let’s break this down: Consistency Issues: It’s baffling that a company can shift its stance so quickly. One minute, they’re open to remote work; the next, they're switching gears. 😩 Information Misuse: I can’t help but think this might be a tactic to collect our info - are these roles even real, or is it just a way to build a talent pool?
