IMO, it’s not whether college is worth it or not. More focus should be put on ways to increase completion, not just completing some. And the resources that ARE available should be limited to the point of not being overwhelming. We tend to focus so much on getting students TO college but not THROUGH college. Focus on completion, and the ROI will correct itself.

Yes. It. Is. But with how much it costs it doesn’t make as much sense for too many students. And now polis is trying to limit how much it’s increasing and schools are fighting that. Jared Polis you are doing good things. Make schools evaluate their budgets. They can make it happen for the 2% increase you proposed. College and university leadership are spending too much in too many places. College needs to be affordable for it to be worth it!
