Migration is in full swing! Not just for our feathered friends either. Spring seems to be a time when people look to migrate to new positions or locations for new positions. Why is Spring a good time? 🌷Spring represents new growth and rejuvenation. A time to get outside, dust off the old stomping grounds and maybe create new ones! 🌷Spring also signfies growth and progress. Not only for you, but companies, too. Think nature, right? Think careers! 🌷Weather is better, days are longer and there is something to be said positively for warmth and sunshine. 🌷The longer days may lead you to be more motivated, extend your day to get things done; like gardening or a new LinkedIn Learning course. Here are some other reasons you may consider migrating to a new role in your company or with another. 1️⃣Fresh Start- Have you been thinking about a career change or feeling a bit unhappy in your current role? This season might get you motivated to take action to find something that aligns better with your values. 2️⃣Career Growth- Pursuing certifications or participating in free online courses to upskill can help propel you to seek out new opportunities. 3️⃣Better weather for Interviews- Longer daylight hours may provide flexibilty in scheduling interviews outside of normal business hours. 4️⃣Seasonal Industry Hiring-These jobs stand out in hospitality, tourism, outdoor recreation too! Looking for a part time job? Summer internship? Maybe something that soothes your soul and provides a little income? These opportunities help job seekers gain valuable experience. *picture taken in Wisconsin #sandhillcranes #wisconsinwednesday #sparrowconsulting #jobseekers #newcareer #militarytransition #employability #upskill #veteranemployment

Why Your Teen Should Get a Summer Job 1. Life Skills Galore: Summer jobs aren't just about earning pocket money. They're like a crash course in adulting! Your teen will learn responsibility, time management, and teamwork – essential skills that will serve them well beyond the ice cream stand or lifeguard chair. 2. Confidence Boost: Remember that first paycheck? It's like a mini victory lap! Your teen will feel a surge of confidence knowing they've earned it through hard work. Plus, dealing with customers, coworkers, and supervisors builds social skills and resilience. 3. Exploring Passions: Summer jobs expose teens to different industries. Whether it's flipping burgers, babysitting, or interning at a local business, they'll discover what they enjoy (or don't). Who knows? Maybe your teen will find their true calling while scooping gelato! 4. Money Management: Ah, budgeting – the ultimate life skill! With a summer job, your teen learns how to handle money responsibly. They'll figure out saving, spending, and maybe even investing (okay, not perhaps stocks yet!). 5. Beat the Boredom: Let's face it – summer break can sometimes turn into a Netflix marathon. A job keeps your teen engaged, active, and away from the dreaded "I'm bored" chorus. Plus, it gives structure to those long, sunny days. So, parents, nudge your teens toward that job application. It's not just about the paycheck; it's about growth, self-discovery, and a sprinkle of sun-kissed independence. Share this post with fellow parents, and let's empower our teens this summer! #TeenJobsRock #SummerJobs #TeenEmpowerment P.S. Teens, if you're reading this, dust off that resume – adventure awaits! (Disclaimer: Always consider safety, age-appropriate jobs, and balance with relaxation. And yes, sunscreen is still non-negotiable!) https://lnkd.in/djm-UANb

Meet Grace, this client of mine started working with me before she graduated, so we had enough time to strategized on all the process from the moment she got admission into her program. We worked together on program major, internship offers and now we are on full time offer. Yes, they will file her papers too. I know someone told you to go to Canada cos paper filing is easier after studies and that the US is a no-go for papers and they told you some other unrealistic scary things about the US. Listen, that isn’t completely true. The situation you find yourself depends on what you studied, how you strategize from the get-go, what company is hiring you and the opportunities within the country you chose. Please don’t let anyone who hasn’t navigated the US job market, do not live here and have no understanding of the immigration system tell you those lies. Living in Canada doesn’t qualify them to talk to you about the US, the immigration process and job market. Yes, I am a Canadian and yes, I am in the USA. And yes, your education can be your compass to navigate the US and the world, get your papers and land amazing roles that will change your life. Let every decision you make be backed by research and informed decisions. Anyone need to win this year? Join our upcoming Career Revival Bootcamp! 📅 Date: July 13th and 14th, 2024 ⏰ Time: 9 a.m. CST / 3 p.m. WAT 💲 Cost: $200 🔗 Link: https://ow.ly/ajhU50S1RaG You too deserve to be getting multiple interviews and amazing offers. Yes, straight out of college to an amazing salary is a possibility. And you need to ask me to help when you get into that program and nor when you have already navigated without guidance and now need me to rectify all your mistakes. Contact me in your first year of getting into your school. That’s the best time.
