According to Rosenblum, technology has impacted every aspect of consumers' lives--from lifestyle activities to shopping environments. And, while technology is viewed as a critical solution, it is not a strategy--instead, it should be treated as an enhancement or augmentation of personal and business actions. With the emergence of Generative AI and in the age of digital transformation, both brands and shoppers are looking for efficiencies and seamless experiences. When done right, technology can have a significant positive impact on a retailer's productivity, operations, performance and even profitability.
