The Rise of Collaborative Grants Collaboration is becoming a key strategy in securing funding. Grantmakers are increasingly looking for projects that demonstrate partnership and community engagement. Nonprofits should focus on building strong alliances and presenting unified proposals that showcase collective impact. #ChangesSeries #RiverCityGrantWriting #GrantWriting #MichiganNonprofits #GrantFunding #GrantSeeking

What does Social Impact Concierge mean? At Ámaxa, we pride ourselves on being the bridge between nonprofits, NGOs, IGOs, and dedicated volunteers. A Social Impact Concierge is an organization that is able to connect volunteers with partners that are working to create change and make a positive impact on the causes that they believe in. Our role as Social Impact Concierge is to ensure that every volunteer experience is a net positive for both organizations and volunteers. By curating social impact initiatives specifically geared towards students, we help create meaningful experiences that benefit our students and our partners’ causes. We go beyond just matching volunteers with opportunities. We equip students with marketable skills, purpose, and the guidance they need to truly make a difference. From training on professionalism and fundraising to becoming comfortable with remote working, we provide comprehensive support to ensure our partner organizations have the ability to feel fully supported by our cohorts. Our ultimate goal is for students to leave their volunteer experience with a renewed sense of purpose, motivation, and confidence that they can create the change they hope to bring to the world. Together, we are building a better future, one volunteer at a time. Discover how you can make a difference with us at https://lnkd.in/eiPFmy9f 🙌 🌱 #SocialImpact #Volunteerism #Nonprofits #StudentVolunteers #MakeADifference

Giving for Change programme activities focus on three core areas: 1. Community level: Giving for Change promotes community philanthropy through action research, peer learning, and small grants. It empowers communities to build local assets, agency, and trust, enabling them to organize resources for local priorities. 2. National level: Giving for Change aims to advocate for state and other stakeholders' support in integrating community philanthropy into national development strategies. This involves creating conducive environments for giving and strengthening multi-stakeholder networks and alliances. 3. Global level: Giving for Change actively participates in sector-wide discussions and debates in philanthropy and international development. Its goal is twofold: to influence these sectors and to foster more equitable partnerships. These partnerships aim to redistribute power and resources to grassroots levels, promoting the flourishing of community philanthropy. In 2023, The Nonprofit Vote created 5️⃣ policy priorities to support Alberta’s nonprofit sector based on the past few years of our State of the Sector reports. We have made progress on 3️⃣ of those priorities (a workforce strategy, better data collection, a door to government) and now we are focussing on appropriate funding. We think we’ll get further if we get more specific about our funding priorities and we need your help to do so. Share what your funding priorities are in this short survey and we’ll share the findings with funders, government, and other stakeholders and use it to shape our future shared advocacy efforts.
