Having a brand strategy is basically securing a plan for the development of a successful brand. It encompasses what the brand is, what it stands for, and how it should be perceived by customers. A brand strategy enables effective brand positioning; where the distinct identity of a brand is engrafted in the minds of its target customers. A brand strategy also informs the marketing communications of the brand.
