Happy belated 4th of July! What does freedom mean to you? I personally grapple a bit with the holiday, possibly because "freedom" in our country is complicated and delicate. I wouldn't begin to unpack that here. For each of us as individuals, we may have different perceptions and struggles with our own freedom(s). A message I heard over the weekend got me thinking about where I'm "free" and where I struggle. For many of us, maybe we struggle with freedom from: - Anxiety - Regret - Guilt - Addiction - Our phones - Doing things the way we've always done it - LinkedIn (ha, just had to throw that in there...social apps in general) - And so many more... These can affect us personally and professionally - more than we realize. At Peak Advisory Consulting, LLC we try to be a little better each day, for ourselves, our loved ones, our team, and our clients. Hopefully we can all find ways to unlock freedom in our day to day, and get help where we need it.

Imagine using the same search for records management. That's most "In-Place" products. They use the native search that's on your Outlook, Teams etc. I call them piggy-backers. If you hear connectors or APIs in their pitch, you are getting a 🐷-backer. Pro Tip: Go to teams and try running a search. See how much of a horror story that is.

It is important to recognize that employee performance is not solely determined by HR efforts. Each employee possesses the knowledge and capabilities required to achieve their individual goals, and it is not within HR's role to instruct them in this regard. However, HR can provide guidance and support to employees in their pursuit of these objectives and in acclimating to the organization. While employee performance is crucial to the progress of the company, it is not directly tied to HR responsibilities, as employees are considered capable of managing their duties. While HR can offer assistance and necessary resources, the ultimate responsibility for delivering high performance lies with the employees, not HR.
