As someone who is heavily focused on growing both personally and professional, collaboration is a key part of that journey. I not only want to BE that person to help other, I want to HAVE others help me. We are not meant to walk through life alone. One of the ways I do that is by teaching women ways to reduce stress in both their mind and their bodies, so that they can move through their days in a healthier way as well process any 'stories' they may be telling themselves that are keeping them stuck in self-judgement, fear or overwhelm. It's one of my all-time favorite tools to share. #collaboration #LivingATHENA #leadership #awareness #knowledge #efttapping #stress #anxiety

💐 Our mothers and their mothers probably never talked about collaboration but they practiced it ― quilting bees, helping with children, nursing ailing loved ones, joining forces ― all inclinations as old as civilization itself. Collaboration is about the WE as opposed to the I. Helping others find their power doesn’t diminish our own. ATHENA leaders Collaborate. #MothersDay #LivingATHENA #WomenInspiringWomen #EffectiveLeadership

Yesterday, I had the privilege of meeting an extraordinary individual, Paula Massey, affectionately known as the 'Skip Queen.' After serving 18 years in the Army as a medic and driver, Paula redirected her passion toward a noble cause. For over eight years, she has been the driving force behind a crucial mission – saving mobility equipment, building materials, and clothing from unnecessary waste. Paula's dedication led to the establishment of the Community Veterans Hub, a haven for veterans, emergency services, and their families. This hub doesn't just repair and repurpose mobility equipment; it provides a space for veterans to work, socialise, and acquire new skills in a supportive environment. I was profoundly moved when I learned about Paula's motivation. A hospital stay revealed the agonising reality that patients couldn't be discharged due to a lack of available mobility equipment, prompting Paula to address this issue head-on. Her initiative has already made a significant impact, earning two community awards and securing funding this year. I am genuinely inspired by Paula's commitment to making a positive change to Veterans, Emergencie Services, and their familys. As a veteran who has undergone the challenging transition from military to civilian employment, I deeply resonate with Paula’s mission, supporting her cause and contributing to the success of the Community Veterans Hub by leveraging my network and connections. Together, let’s rally to amplify Paula’s efforts, ensuring our veterans receive the care and support they rightfully deserve. Share this post, spread the word, and let’s make a meaningful difference. #TransportInfrastructure #FacilitiesManagement #Highways #TransportForWales #LocalGovernment #Finance #London #Wales #CoreValleysLine #VeteransMentalHealth #VeteransSupport #CommunityImpact #Collaboration #CircularEconomy #SupportOurVeterans #CommunityVeteransHub #MakingADifference #VeteranTransition #CivilianEmployment #VeteransCare #CommunityEngagement #InfrastructureSupport #WelshCommunity #LondonCollaborates #VeteransWellbeing #InfrastructureForChange #EmpowerVeterans #VeteranSuccess #BuildingCommunity #WalesSupportsVeterans #SocialImpact Amey

Ahhhh, 'MULTI-FAITH' - but what exactly does that expression mean? How do you define a specific 'faith' .. how many recognised 'faiths' are there on Planet Earth? What is in this special room? Do you need to PROVE you belong to an accepted faith before you can enter the room? So many questions, so many unknowns. ______________________________
Things I saw in the airport that almost brought me to tears: A quiet room for disabled and neurodivergent folks 🥹 Manchester Airport leading the way 🌻👏🏼
