A Harvard study found that companies with strong cultures can increase their revenue by 765% over 11 years. Now that the big numbers got your attention 📈. What is culture and how do you create it? The word culture originates from the Latin word cultus, which means care. According to - Daniel Coyle culture is a set of living relationships working toward a shared goal. It's not something you are. It's something you do. As we are growing, we started thinking more about our culture at LatamCent and how to create a safe environment, with purpose and ultimately play. Do you have any good culture stories to share that we can all learn from? #LatamCent #Culture #CultureCode #DanielCoyle

Why is Team Building especially important in the Philippines? Dahil ba hilig lang talaga natin gumala at magpasyal? Or is there a deeper meaning to it? From student councils to college organizations, from startups to large corporations, team building or more commonly known as "outing" is seen as an absolute necessity Companies sometimes spend extravagant amounts to send their employees to beautiful hotels or resorts Kasi diba hindi pwede na puro trabaho lang Pero bakit nga ba hindi pwede? In Areté, we can think of 2 reasons: 1. Collectivist Culture: In the Philippines, Filipinos typically prioritize the well-being of the group over individual interests. Dapat okay tayong lahat. Kung okay "tayo" okay tayo. Most internal conflicts can be solved not by talking about it but by simply doing a fun activity together that reinforces this mindset. This is because Filipinos aren't confrontational by nature. We say an apology through a shared meal or experience, and we accept it by agreeing to take part in this experience. 2. Bayanihan Spirit: The concept of "bayanihan," or communal unity, is deeply ingrained in Filipino culture. By participating in team building activities, employees can strengthen bonds with their colleagues, creating a supportive network akin to an extended family, which is highly valued in Filipino culture. We are relationship-oriented people, and team building activities strengthen this relationship. Kasi you spend most of your life at work, so it is important to have good relationships with your workmates. If you want to develop good relationships with your co-workers, we can design a great team building experience for you. That's the Areté Way! A package just delivered📦 Join me to unpack the amazing experiences I got from last week’s team-building escapade in Genting. The participants were a diverse blend of talents, hailing from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, and India. 🌏🌍 See the universal love for team building? But why? 1. Team building is like a secret language everyone speaks. It breaks down communication barriers, creating an open dialogue where every idea flows freely. Everyone is encouraged to talk and express themselves despite language and cultural differences. 🗣️ 2. Picture this: a collective nod and YES toward a decision. Team building aligns minds and missions, ensuring everyone is rowing in the same direction. 🚣♂️ 3. Enhance the team dynamics, transforming individual talents into a harmonious symphony of collaboration. With everyone’s participation, we can create an all-rounder band with multiple talents.🎤🎨 “Everyone’s POV Matters”: Throughout the team building, I was constantly reminded of the extremely valuable lesson that everyone matters. Team building isn’t just about creating a team; it’s about respecting and celebrating every voice and fostering an environment where every individual shines. 🌟 Here’s to the beauty of learning from each other and yes to more team building in the future!🎉 So, how has team building enriched your professional journey? Share your team-building experience with me 💬 #AudreysDay #TeamBuilding #Adventure #EveryoneMatters #DiversityMatters #TeamworkWins

Do you have something unique about you that makes you stand out from the crowd? When I first arrived in Finland, I noticed that I would attract a few stares, although not as much as here, where nobody even seems to look. However, not many were comfortable. I often felt awkward, more so than people made me feel. But, as time went on, I realized that embracing what makes me different is key to building self-confidence. I began to feel more confident because I was different. I'm always the one who stands out at events, meetings, and wherever I go because of the diversity I bring. And you know what? Being different allows you to stand out and shine. I remember someone on my LinkedIn posted a picture of an event where I was also present, and I instantly spotted myself in the crowd as the only one with head scarf. It made me realize that being unique isn't a weakness; it's my strength. Moreover, I've noticed that Finland's work environments are increasingly embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion. It's heartening to see companies here welcoming individuals from various backgrounds and cultures, making an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and respected. Just like the company I work in, Crowd For Impact, we are three different nationalities, races, and backgrounds. We embrace the diversity of perspectives and cultures, and it enriches our work environment in profound ways. So, if you ever feel like you don't quite fit in, remember that your uniqueness is what makes you special. Embrace it, and watch yourself glow. 😎
