We know you've just barely made it through end of year events and graduation ceremonies, but we need to have a talk about #SummerMelt. According to a study from Harvard University, the rates of summer melt range from 10 to 40% of college-intending students, meaning that hundreds of thousands of students are likely melting away over the summer. We've put together some effective strategies to engage incoming students and prevent the dreaded summer melt. #higheredmarketing #collegeadmission

Does it open eyes of politicians, bureaucrats, police and society ? Do we appoint public servants to promote drug addiction, promote drug sale and promote spoiling of youth in India ? How responsible is police, can be gauged by this video ?? Do Government pays salary to such anti national and anti society public servants from public money ?? After all why public servants are so mad to make corruption money so easy for them and where such money is misappropriated by them as their personal assets ?? Is such negligence of duty by public servants not threat to a nation and its existence ??

The point raised by the student is not only valid, but "eye opener'. We, alongwith statutory bodies, government and rules & regulations implementation authorities have to jointly work. If we can eradict disease like polio, why can't we not eradict "Evil Drug". But to stop the agriculture of Afim, ganja. Can we do it! In my lifetime I have not got reply for-- Selling cigarette with "Statutory Warning". Selling liquors and government getting revenue, however, getting sermons that liquor is a taboo. I have only got reply that these are "necessary evils".

What's a good school, in your opinion? Here's our take. A place where learning closely meets individual values; A warm community where we forgive and repair relationships if broken; A place where any mistake is just a new lesson added to a long string of experiences; A place where only time travel is impossible - at least until we find out it isn't; A place where diversity doesn't divide us but unites us; A place where each of us can be unique, where we are all authentic in being different; A place where we learn not only formulas or facts but many interesting things about the world around us and how we can live a happy and fulfilling life. In the following days, we will take you on a virtual journey and show you what a day in the life of a student at Transylvania College looks like. Until then, what makes a good school for your children? 😊
