Narendra Modi took the oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term on Sunday. He is the first leader since former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to be elected for a third consecutive term after completing the full tenure of each previous term. Meanwhile, a question has arisen: should the salary of Indian MPs be hiked? In a country as diverse and vibrant as India, the government’s decisions should reflect the aspirations and needs of its people. Recognizing this, the Department of Economic Affairs, and the Ministry of Finance, introduced the Jan Bhagidari initiative. This forward-thinking effort invites citizens to actively participate in the Union Budget-making process, aiming to create a more inclusive and participatory governance system. In the words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “Our strength lies in the people’s power.” Read more here, https://buff.ly/3Tg8o0p #janbhagidari #unionbudget2024 #financialfuture #financialsolutions #financialbudget2024 #techindustry #globaleconomy

"Modi 3.0 and retained ministers " Recently , a prominent leader in India has succeeded in becoming the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. Firstly, my best wishes to the Prime Minister and all the honorable Ministers who have retained their positions. After that, we should talk a little about the democracy of India. Typically , in a democratic country , the people choose their own leader and the same has happened here. I don't want to raise any question about that process. But yes, as all the ministers of important ministers are the same. This fact bothers me somewhat. It might be that all these ministers possess very good leadership and implementation capabilities but is their starting a new term not an opportunity for them to act according to their own will? If that's the case, it would be contrary to the spirit of democracy. In this situation, it reminds me of the 22nd Amendment of American Constitution, which prohibits a president from being elected for more than two terms. Is it not possible to have equivalent provision in India's democracy? If it's possible, why hasn't it been done yet? And why isn't this a significant issue for the Indian people?

As Narendra Modi prepares for his third term as India's Prime Minister, NDA allies are increasing pressure on the BJP. Nitish Kumar's JDU demands a review of the Agniveer scheme, and the Modi government faces scrutiny over ideological issues like the Uniform Civil Code and One Nation, One Poll. The caste census has also become a contentious topic. The immediate challenge for the BJP is the allocation of ministries, with allies eyeing key portfolios. However, BJP sources indicate that the party leadership will set firm boundaries and retain major ministries. Narendra Modi took oath for a third consecutive term as Prime Minister, along with 72 ministers, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. With this milestone, Narendra Modi (73) equalled the feat of Jawaharlal Nehru, who won three straight terms as India's first Prime Minister. While PM Modi has secured another five years in power, this is the first time he will be sharing power after the BJP lost its outright majority in the Lok Sabha after a fiercely fought election. In keeping with 'coalition dharma', the new Council of Ministers will be 72-strong and comprise 11 ministers belonging to NDA partners. The Modi 3.0 team will include 30 Cabinet Ministers, 5 Ministers of State with Independent Charge, and 36 Ministers of State. The portfolios will be announced later. STELLAR LEADERSHIP AND ECONOMIC FORESIGHT - bad politics winning over good economics must not be repeated Unlike self-hype, family promotions and cheerleaders, his understated leadership during what was perhaps one of our most difficult periods has placed India on the path to sustainable progress. The foundation along with Manmohan Singh ji has lifted millions out of poverty and the roadmap for success when India was considered a basket case with our sovereign gold mortgaged. It is our misfortune that he was voted out of power as was Vajpayee ji few years later who also played a stellar role in taking India forward. I hope we are not let down a third time from the economic momentum we have currently due to bad politics winning over good economics. #Leadership #India #indianeconomy #politics
Our tributes to most effective prime minister of India who unshackled industry from inspector raaj & heralded India to economic reforms.

Confidence in Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party has plunged. The BJP failed to win an outright majority in the lower house of Parliament for the first time since 2014, and is now forced to rely on its allies in the coalition. A Modi-led coalition won’t likely derail India’s economic and development, analysts say. However, they point out that the new government will now have to restore faith in the people and ensure India’s standing in the Global South remains. The new government has yet to outline its key priorities. Analysts, however, are predicting that these four areas will feature high on the agenda. Read more: https://cnb.cx/3zkGDvO

A key lesson from the failure of Prime Minister #Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (“#BJP”) to secure a majority in the lower house of #India’s parliament and to sustain its popularity in traditionally pro-BJP states is the pressing need to solve the issue of #economicinequality in India. Mr. Modi faces mounting pressure to deliver during his third term as India’s Prime Minister a strong economic performance to those who have not yet benefited from India’s progress. Similar challenges are being faced by #Chineseleaders, who are rolling out new measures aimed at supporting the “accelerated rise” of #CentralChina. Given India’s growing #competition with China, how China plans to accomplish this goal should be of significant interest to India and its allies. Details: https://lnkd.in/gphPc2Qv #sinotalks
