If you're going to discount your tickets, be sure to do it strategically (and not as a knee-jerk reaction!) You can use discounting to encourage certain buying behaviors with your audience, and to give them a feeling of insider exclusivity.

Some great tips here! I often encourage my clients to focus on building their email lists and one way to do it is to start by creating a waitlist for a new product or service launch. You get a database of people who are happy to hear from you as you nurture them and build a relationship towards the launch. When they become your advocates, the ‘sell’ gets easier too!
