Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action - What is being done in San Diego? 📍San Diego is one of leading cities in the United States for climate action initiative. With the 2022 CAP plan, which established a community-wide goal of net zero by 2035, and committing to 100% renewable energy by 2035, San Diego is very ambitious in our climate action goals. Not only does San Diego have many climate action goals, but our city has already implemented many climate action measures! These include investing in sustainable transportation (ie: increasing bike lines and public transport), implementing curbside and organic recycling programs, increasing the urban tree canopy, promoting the installation of solar panels on residential and commercial buildings, improving energy efficiency in buildings, and more!

What does sustainability mean to you? To us, it is one of the most significant responsibilities we have. It entails the utilization of renewable natural resources while consistently refining and advancing our processes. Our dedication extends to land stewardship, community enrichment, corporate citizenship, and efforts toward mitigating climate change.
