Training is a great way to build relationships. And when we build relationships in the context of training, those relationships go with our learners back into the workplace. And that's why Learning for Good host Heather Burright recommends using cohorts in DEIB training. When we use cohorts: ▶️ We have more time to build those relationships. ▶️ We can establish group norms for how learners want to be together and they get to co-create them. ▶️ We can tap into their many identities and allow them to reflect and share as they are comfortable. ▶️ We can slowly break down the power differentials that exist so that real, meaningful conversation can occur. In this week's episode of Learning for Good, Heather explores why cohort-based DEIB training is effective. Tune in or read the recap here: https://lnkd.in/gUj_84-s
