Here are my key insights from the event: - The space startup industry is gaining momentum, thanks to the growth of the new space economy. - Many startups showcased significant traction, and even profitability, within just two years. - There is a need for more geographic differentiation in the industry. Regional clusters are forming, indicating the importance of specific locations for space-related activities. - It's not just about space. The event showcased several applications with terrestrial uses, which was particularly impressive. 🚀 SpaceFounders Batch 4 Demo Day in Berlin: A Stellar Conclusion to 2023 As we approach the year's end, it's not just 2023 wrapping up, but also an exhilarating journey for the fourth batch of SpaceFounders. 🌟 Ten handpicked startups have just culminated their intense and inspiring journey, marked by a week of rigorous activities in Toulouse and Munich, leading up to the much-anticipated Demo Day on December 7th in Berlin. 🌌 The event wasn't just a gathering; it was a convergence of the space industry's brightest minds and visionaries. Investors, VCs, procurement experts, government officials, and thought leaders – the crème de la crème of the space sector – came together, united by a common vision for the future of space and Europe's role in it. 🇪🇺 🔭 The highlight was the startups' pitches, followed by a riveting panel discussion featuring Maru Winnacker, Sven Przywarra and Matthias Johannes Wachter, delving into the future of space exploration and innovation.
