Content Authenticity Initiative ‘Applying Real Rules to Fake Media’ will probably be a bit too general and quite challenging, as there will always be debate over what constitutes ‘fake’ media and what does not, even among your own ranks. Be honest now for a moment. Have you ever REALLY read AND checked facts regarding a medium like the Bible? The Quran? Nevertheless, it is certainly a worthy endeavor. Science has been grappling with similar issues with less scientifically oriented individuals for centuries now. And here we are. New people are born all the time and will be freshly brainwashed by their own parents, heaven forbid. I have an important presentation coming up, but I may be able to join afterward. If not, please impress upon the C2PA the importance of irrevocably embedding the names of content producers into the content, if they so wish. The fact that Microsoft strips creator metadata from C2PA's Content Credentials on LinkedIn shows a lack of respect for artists, creatives, our society’s visionaries and honesty in general.
