Discussions around the AI Liability Directive are heating up! Last week, a report by the European Parliamentary Research Service reopened the debate around this critical framework which would facilitate  individual access to compensation for damages caused by AI systems. And it's a wrap for the second Osgoode AI and Law Forum chaired by Monica Goyal and Max Jarvie. Together with patent and trademark agent Alexander Stack and Monica Goyal, we explored how intellectual property elements of AI processes and systems, highlighting how often a methodical evaluation of the various components of such systems and processes are required to untangle the complexities surrounding AI and IP.
