More often, I get questions like "How big is your team?", rather than "How much profit did you make last year?". . . . In my experience, the lean and efficient team is where you'll find the most success in SaaS. I've found that the size of my team is not the key metric that people tend to ask about. I've heard about some SaaS startups that have built a business doing $10 million or more in yearly revenue with just 15 or fewer people on their team. Even WhatsApp had only 50-55 employees when it was sold to Meta back in 2014. In my opinion, team strength doesn't matter all that much in a most product business. If you can solve a key problem for the right users, I believe a good small team is more than enough to sustain a lifestyle startup. The lean product team is about having the right people who can work efficiently and effectively together to deliver value to your customers. What do you think? Hiring process: There are usually 4 rounds: 1) Online assessment (OA) - It will have a basic programming question, some testing based question also. 2) Technical round 1 - This round will be focused on your CS core fundamentals like OS, DBMS, OOPS and some basics question on DSA concepts like array, strings, Linked list nothing more! 3) Technical round 2 - This round will also be focused on your basic DSA concepts or programming language question. Be prepare for the things you write in your resume! And also have basic understanding of testing scenario based questions. 4) Technical round 3 + HR round - Prepare your resume well, your projects, testing question and JS concepts and be confident as confidence is the key here in this round!!
