Kick off your creative journey by intentionally setting the stage for a collaborative atmosphere! Here are four tips to make it happen: 🎯 Define a Collective Vision: Ensure everyone understands their role in the bigger picture, fostering a shared commitment to the project's success. Facilitate a discussion about everyone’s collective and individual goals on the first day! 🗣️ Open Dialogue: Create an environment where everyone's voice matters. Set the stage for open chats, where questions are not just allowed but encouraged! 🎶 Share Your Tunes: Build unity by creating a collaborative playlist. Let each team member add their favorite tunes, turning rehearsals into a harmonious blend of everyone's musical preferences. 🤗 Gratitude Circle: Start rehearsals with a gratitude circle. Set a positive tone for the day by asking each member to express appreciation for something about their day or someone on your team! Give these tips a shot, and let us know about your experience! How do you usually kick off your first rehearsal on a positive note? We'd love to hear your ideas — share them in the comments below!

Spring Product Innovation Series , Black Product Managers Network 💫 This past week I had the opportunity to hear from product leaders from Reddit, Inc. & Live Nation Entertainment . 💡 Takeaways : 1️⃣ Although data is a strong storytelling tool , some things can only be seen through real world user behavior . 2️⃣ Leading with empathy is the shortest path to solving problems . 3️⃣ When a new technology / solution emerges (AI) , start with the solution and work backwards . Gain a deep understanding of the solution and wait for the problem to arise . 4️⃣ 1:3:1 Framework : - Identify a problem - Come up with 3 possible solutions - Make a recommendation based on the best solution Thank you Brandon Quinn and Adriel Frederick for pouring into us . Today is the last day of Live Nation Week , where you can score concert tickets for as little as $25 for artist like Missy, 21 Savage, and Avril Lavigne. Let’s have fun this summer :

I help empower sound pros to navigate, believe, and thrive in the post-production sound industry | Emmy® Nominated Sound Re-Recording Mixer | Supervising Sound Editor | Founder Mastering Post-Production Sound.
Sometimes, it’s just fun to get out on a Saturday morning. Lately, my boys have been getting me into cars—they absolutely love them. The car community is something special and honestly, it reminds me a lot of the post-sound community. We geek out over the same things, whether it’s EQ, reverb, noise reduction, or panning—all things audio. The car community is just like that. Every Saturday at 7 AM, they gather: old friends, new colleagues, and, of course, cars. Lots of cool cars. It’s their shared love and passion for classic cars, sports cars, and collectibles that brings them together. I’m really grateful to my boys for opening me up to new worlds, new communities, and new experiences. And, naturally, I couldn’t resist the temptation to capture a few sounds while I was there. My little guy was recording, and yes, he caught me in the background geeking out with my Zoom recorder. We’re meant to do life together. Traveling this journey we call life alone is isolating, and we’re not designed for that. The same goes for our industry—don’t do this journey alone. Find a tribe, any tribe. One that calls to you, one that you identify with, and one that shares your values. At Mastering Post-Production Sound, our mission is to empower you to navigate, believe, and thrive in the post-production sound industry. For me, it goes beyond plug-ins or noise reduction tools. It’s about bringing compassion, empathy, kindness, tolerance, and, honestly, love to a notoriously cold and cutthroat industry. What would this industry look like if we were just a bit kinder to each other? If that resonates with you, consider joining one of the most curious, hardworking, persistent, and relationship-centric post-sound communities online. But it doesn’t have to be this tribe—just find a tribe. Don’t do this journey alone. You’ve got this! Will you join us? https://lnkd.in/gzT3uD3W

I take pride in helping voice actors create transformative demos that showcase their unique talent. Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of working with Phil Cantone on his voice-over demo, and the results were fantastic! Phil was looking to get back into voice over after spending some time away. Together we crafted a demo that highlights his versatility and range, from energetic commercial reads to heartfelt narrations. The transformation was incredible, and Phil has been landing more auditions and jobs since. The demo production process focuses on three key principles: 1. Repeatable: Ensuring that the demo showcases your skills in a way that you can consistently replicate. 2. Believable: Creating authentic reads that connect with the audience. 3. Goal-Focused: Tailoring the demo to achieve specific career goals, whether it’s landing more auditions or securing high-profile gigs. Check out Phil Cantone’s demo below to hear the quality for yourself! And if you're ready to take your voice-over career to the next level, drop me a line and let’s create a demo that truly represents your skills and sets you apart from the competition! 🎙️✨ https://lnkd.in/gfkY69pj

There are only two mistakes for mastery: not starting and not going all the way | Author, Agile, Lean Construction, Scrum | Director @ The Boldt Company | Assoc. DBIA
Imagine this: 🚀🎶 You're deep into a DBIA Webinar, absorbing the nitty-gritty of Contingency best practices. It's crucial, it's complex, and it's critical for your upcoming test. Then, at precisely 13:35, as the speaker starts in about the art of spending contingency wisely, your background soundtrack hits a crescendo. It's that "aha" moment when everything aligns—the music, the learning, and that sudden, clear insight into managing project risks like a pro. 🌟 Isn't it amazing how sometimes, the universe conspires to make learning unforgettable? Whether it's the perfect soundtrack, an insightful speaker, or the moment everything just "clicks," it's these experiences that transform our understanding and approach to our work in construction and project management. 📘 These "aha" moments are special. They're not just coincidences; they're the milestones of our learning journey. At a Big Room meeting this week, we were asked during our ice-breaker: What is your song today? 🚧 I answered with "Another Brick in the Wall" by Pink Floyd. 🎵🏗️ What's your go-to soundtrack when diving into new learning materials? #leanconstruction #scrum #dbia #professionaldevelopment #ahamoment 👉 And if you're looking to hit your own "aha" moments with project management in construction, don't forget to check out our Registered Scrum Master class for insights and strategies that resonate well beyond the collaborative Zoom classroom. Want a fun way to add a performance boost to your team? Have a team theme song. 🎵 Okay, maybe a playlist instead of just one song. You probably did not think I would go to music as a team performance booster but hear me out. Humans have been connecting over music for thousands of years and there is a scientific reason for that. Oxytocin. And more specifically, certain types of music release oxytocin. Why is this important for team performance? 👉 Oxytocin is key to generating trust 👉 Trust is an essential pillar of high performing teams It doesn’t have to feel forced or contrived. Next time you host a zoom or even an in-person meeting with your team, have some fun, upbeat music playing as people join. You will likely find ✅ People enjoy it ✅ The meeting will have a more positive vibe ✅ You will start to feel more like a team and not just a bunch of people working alongside each other. What is one song you would have on your team playlist? --- Hi! I’m Jeremy. I’m a former CEO of a B Corp turned performance strategist. I harness the power of fire and other wilderness skills to ignite team performance, build trust, and drive leadership in purpose-driven companies.
