We have a packed house today at Core4ce's Arlington, VA office as our outstanding class of summer interns gathers for a day of presentations and knowledge sharing.
Takeaways so far include the importance of developing soft skills for remote collaboration, being intentional about documenting technical progress, and the value of working on real-world projects with lasting impact on the mission.
Thank you to all of the interns who joined forces with us this summer! We look forward to sharing more highlights from today's event soon.

Happy Friday! 🎉
We truly have the most fascinating people at LCP Media. One of my favorite things to learn about someone is WHY they do what they do -
Nick's story is nothing short of inspiring. His journey to loving software engineering started as a kid, inspired by his father and grandfather, who had computers in their office. He loved exploring the internet, playing video games, and got interested in learning code. By middle school, he was already building websites!
Nick also speaks multiple languages and started learning Polish during his internship with us. Did you know that about half of LCP Media is in Poland? (I still geek out when I have international calls; I am just a small-town girl from Texas—like, how AWESOME!)
But my FAVORITE part of Nick's story is he chose to come back to us full-time after graduating from the University of Chicago, which goes to show how great our team is at LCP Media. We are lucky to have him! 👏
Reflecting on Nick's journey made me think about my path to LCP Media as the Marketing Director -
As a young girl, I loved making things *look pretty* —if I colored outside the lines in a coloring book, I would literally throw it in the trash! Visually, I’m a bit of a perfectionist. My band-aids had to match my outfits (lol). I loved storytelling and decorating. In middle school, I would spend HOURS redesigning my MySpace profile. I still remember the exact day I got a Facebook account in 9th grade; I loved creating photo albums and sharing my life. I was the girl in my sorority with a GoPro documenting everything! Social media, photography, and videography have ALWAYS been my passions - It's no wonder I do what I do! 🤩
How lucky are we to have the opportunity to do what we love? I challenge you to think about your journey. What were your passions growing up—do they align with what you do now? Share in the comments! ⬇️
Welcome Back, Nick!
We’re thrilled to have Nick Clifford rejoin us as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at LCP Media! From his impactful internship to returning full-time after graduating from the University of Chicago, Nick’s journey is one you don’t want to miss. "Most of my big career transitions have started with some sort of consulting contract, or internship, or apprenticeship, or way to try on the role. And I feel like that's really helped clarify decision making to get to experience the day in the life myself, see the team I'll get to be working with, and make calls about where to move based on the people, the project, the mission, and just how it feels day to day." - Ginny Fahs, Director, Product R&D - Innovation Lab, Consumer Reports
