#DCAT #StaffSpotlight: Corie Rowe-Whalen joined the DCAT staff team in September 2023. She worked for a Member Company for over a decade and now describes working at DCAT as a dream come true. She loves being part of the team and has had a lot of respect for the staff and the organization for years. Corie is excited to participate in her first DCAT Week from the other side of the table. December is a busy month for Corie, she spends her weekends as Mrs. Claus on Santa’s Magical Express saving Christmas with thousands of “elves in training” every holiday season.  She lives in Schenectady, NY with her husband Robert, their two girls, and their sweet yet high-maintenance dog, Luna.  You might be surprised to know that Corie is a huge Marvel fan, an avid camper, and an accomplished singer. Corie started a daily walking practice at the beginning of this year and she is proud of where it’s taken her.  She has logged over 500 miles of walking in 2023.  She credits walking with improving both her mental and physical health.
