Bloomed out of personal necessity. Traya was co-founded by Altaf Saiyed and Saloni Anand. The story behind the success: When Altaf struggled with hair loss due to thyroid issues, stress, and poor lifestyle, they discovered the inadequacies of conventional hair loss treatments. Combining Ayurveda, dermatology, and nutrition, they created a holistic approach to address hair loss internally. The journey began in 2019, and despite challenges like raising awareness and building trust, Traya has seen significant success. They emphasize that hair loss is an internal issue, not solvable by commercial shampoos or oils alone. Instead, a comprehensive treatment plan is essential. Customer Base: From a modest start with 100 customers, Traya achieved a 93% efficacy rate among those who completed five months of treatment. Their focus on customer adherence led to an 80% repeat order rate within the second month. Allocating 30% of monthly revenue to marketing. There are three types of dandruff. Dry Scalp Dandruff : This is a common type of dandruff. It tends to happen more often in the winter months as cold weather and indoor heating can dry out your skin, including the skin on your scalp. Washing your hair frequently in hot water can also lead to dry skin dandruff. A scalp that’s too dry can become irritated and shed skin cells. Dry skin dandruff flakes are small and white. Your scalp may feel itchy, but not excessively so it needs regular oiling of your scalp and hair. 2. Just below the surface of your skin are glands that produce sebum, an oily substance that helps moisturize and protect your skin. When these sebaceous glands produce too much sebum, it can make your hair oily. Also, the excess oil can clump together, irritating your scalp and causing dandruff. It needs regular hair wash and protect hairs from pollution and sun exposure. Seborrheic dermatitis is a more severe form of oily skin dandruff. 3. Disease-related dandruff: Psoriasis, eczema, and seborrheic dermatitis are a few causes of dandruff. It needs medical treatment. Tea tree oil does wonders in such cases. #dandruff #haircare #ayurveda #ayurvedicsolutions #knowledge #tejangahealthcare #nsrcel #wsp4 #iimbanglore

Winter, Pitta & acne: We just made the newest batch of the Krya Anti Acne face wash yesterday. And we already have a backlog of orders to fulfill. But acne in winter? It seems slightly counterintuitive, no? Not according to Ayurveda. With the cold driving inside the heat in the body, we get a surfeit of good Agni in the gut. At the same time, the cold drives the warmth in the body from the outer layers of the body. The first affected are the srotas in skin narrowing down the ability of skin to release excess heat and toxins from the body. Second, the build up of the Agni leads to a healthy appetite. And in Winter we are asked to eat good rich food in Ayurveda. And many of us do. BUT, we are also advised to exercise strongly to ensure that this good rich food is not converted into an excess of Kapha, which could result in skin breakouts. So for both of these reasons, if you are already prone to it, you might still break out in Winter for these 2 reasons. How does one work on this? For starters, use the right skincare product. In this weather you don't want your face wash further drying out and constricting the skin pores. Our anti acne face wash doesn't. Second, you want to, through diet and lifestyle practices work on 2 things: a. keep the body from losing warmth in the extremities, and ensuring the skin pores don't shrink. b. Work out enough so that the rich food fuels warmth in the body and does not get converted to Kapha stores which sit everywhere making you feel heavier and more listless So the 3 step rule in Winter: 1. Eat heartily 2. Do abhyanga vigorously & bathe correctly 3. Exercise really well Are you doing all 3? Comment below with how your winter has been going so far. Thank you to the team Cosmopolitan and Beth Gillette for including the Straight A - Advanced Gentle Retinol Serum as the “Best Retinol and Bakuchiol Serum” in their latest article, it is truly an honor. From the article: “This retinol serum also uses bakuchiol, an extract of the Babchi plant, which has been used historically in Ayurvedic medicine. Now, though, it’s getting its flowers as a potential alternative to retinol for its anti-aging and brightening effects, says Dr. King. Based on studies, ‘bakuchiol seems to be activating the genes that regulate collagen and elastin production— the same ones retinol activates,’ she says. ‘And it doesn’t seem to irritate your skin the way retinol often does, so it appears to be a gentler option.’ So if you want a potentially easier-to-tolerate serum, try this one from Maya Chia, which Dr. King also loves. ‘It contains retinol as well as bakuchiol, but also vitamin C and vitamin E,’ she says. ‘It’s in a base of chia seed and buriti oils to support the skin barrier and lock in moisture too.’ Basically, it’s ideal for anyone with v-dry or easily irritated skin.” For the full article, follow the link below: https://lnkd.in/gdy87RTG #straighta #retinol #gentleretinol #antiaging #cleanbeauty #mayachia

As a Licensed Esthetician with training in Integrative Health, I'm always searching for alternative treatments that support the natural progression of aging. Lymphatic Drainage, a practice deeply rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, has been trusted for its benefits for centuries. In 1930, a Danish Naturopath named Emil Vodder and his wife further developed this technique, introducing a series of light, rhythmic manipulations that are today known as manual lymph drainage. So, how can lymphatic drainage be used as an alternative to modern-day cosmetic procedures to slow the signs of accelerated aging? First and foremost, it is a technique that works with the body and stimulates it to do the work it's been naturally designed to do. However, if that isn't enough, these three reasons may convince you to add it to your arsenal for proactive aging. 1. Enhanced lymphatic flow can improve blood circulation in the facial tissues, leading to a healthier, more radiant complexion. 2. The lymphatic system helps remove toxins and waste products from the body. Facial lymphatic drainage can aid in flushing out these toxins from the facial tissues, proving beneficial for individuals with certain skin conditions like acne, rosacea, or eczema by reducing inflammation and improving the skin's healing process. 3. Improved lymphatic flow can contribute to better skin hydration and elasticity, potentially reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Lymphatic drainage holds many benefits for healthy aging that go beyond the skin's surface and are essential for aging well for the body as a whole. www.jaclynmora.com #faciallymphaticdrainage #skininfluencer #skincaretips #esthetician #skincare #proagewoman #menopause #skinaging #aging #skin #skinhealth #wrinkles #adultacne #womenover40 #facials
