JAILED I A 21-year-old man from Bristol has been sentenced to 3 years and 9 months for terrorism offences. Faseh Sajid glorified extreme Islamist terrorism by sharing graphic content online. He created videos which contained Daesh footage of soldiers fighting, mass executions, and beheadings. Sajid was arrested in January 2023 and has been found guilty of five counts of dissemination of terrorist publications. Head of CTP South East, Detective Chief Superintendent Olly Wright, said: “Sajid was just 18 years old when he began spreading this extremely harmful rhetoric. I therefore stress how important it is that, if you are concerned about a young person, or indeed anyone who is sharing or viewing extreme material, please do report this to keep everyone safe.” We all have a part in countering terrorism. If you see something that doesn't look right, report online in confidence at gov.uk/ACT. Read more ➡https://lnkd.in/ec7AiAJ7
Slightly more time behind bars for terrorist offences than those locked up for nasty social media posts a few months ago….highlights just how broken the UK’s judicial system is. Clearly no deterrent for those intent on causing death and destruction on our shores.
I have always felt rather blessed to have been born in Britain, especially since I have been part of a charmed generation who were never asked to fight for all we hold dear. It is time that we treat living in this country as the great privilege it is and remove those who apparently don’t believe that and prefer to live under another system. If you work to better the country, respect its laws……and especially if you fight for it, you’re welcome to stay in my book. If you don’t feel you need to do any of those things, perhaps it’s time to move on.
3 years 9 months for terrorism offences, out in 2. Well done judiciary for putting and keeping the UK at risk. WTF do you think this clown is going to be doing in prison but converting others. Jailed, more like going on a 2 year terror training course.
Less than 4yrs for terrorism offences? I’m not really sure this is a sentence to be proud of and post about. People have just been sentenced to 3yrs plus for violent disorder, other have been jailed for facebook posts and we’ve got people charged with ‘riot’ looking at potential 10 year terms. Genuine question - what poses more threat to life, terrorism or violent disorder/riot? Acts of terrorism are planned out to have maximum impact and maximum casualties and are predominantly carried out by extremists. Violent disorder/riot is usually and instinctive reaction, not thought out, can be escalated with police involvement and usually carried out by idiots who don’t think about what they’re doing. Both are crimes, both should be punished but there’s only one that should carry a sentence of life without parole or capital punishment. In summary this sentence is nothing short of embarrassing.
David Spring jailed for 18 months for saying 'Who the #### is Allah'. Actual dangerous terrorist jailed for merely 3 years 9 months for glorifying extreme Islamist terrorism by sharing graphic content online. He created videos which contained Daesh footage of soldiers fighting, mass executions, and beheadings. Sajid was arrested in January 2023 and has been found guilty of five counts of dissemination of terrorist publications. Two Tier Legal System. Terrorists cannot be rehabilitated, they do not serve their term and then come out with a changed view of the world, if anything I would imagine prison simply stiffens their resolve against us. He will be on the unwatchable 'watch list' in no time, 43,000+ dangerous individuals who hate us walking free, literally ticking time bombs, leaving good people at the mercy of terrorists since 2000. I do wonder where all the patriots are hiding in this nation. Surely the staff in the Counter Terrorism Team know that this is absurd, if they do, they should have the moral courage to make that known publicly.
Get longer for banging on a hotel door
When he was arrested I hope that his computer was checked carefully to see how many had responded to him and if they had contacted him to say they wanted to assist him. If this was so then I hope that they were tracked and a continual observation is being kept as to their movements. They should ideally be deported. His sentence is to short. No doubt he will be trying whilst in prison to get more followers. Therefore he should be kept in solitary confinement. Once he has finished his sentence he and all of his relatives in this country should be deported and never allowed back. We don't need him or his supporters in this country.
Islamic extremists don’t need to promote their hate. The UK Judicial system does it for them. Out in 18 months. You’d actually get a longer sentence if you wrote what you thought about them. Broken Britain.
