Experiencing CPHI for the First Time: A Journey of Discovery Experiencing CPHI for the first time was absolutely enlightening. As I was strolled through the event’s hallways, I was shocked to see the global industries coming together under one roof. The sheer scale of CPHI was flooded with multiple sections dedicated to different aspects of pharmaceuticals-including contract manufacturing, packaging, API industries, Logistics, FDF’s-I was thrilled to bits. Building up networking was of course one of the primary reasons for attending CHPI. Throughout the event, I had the chance to engage in customers and potential business partners. The exhibition was filled with pharmaceutical companies of all sizes, it was nice to discover the new products. The huge impact of face-to-face interactions :- One of the first thing that I have noticed was how much meaningful our conversations were it be compared to calls and emails. Although meeting directly is something special. Building strong connections with Team-mates:- One of the most underrated aspect of attending CPHI is an opportunity to strengthen relationships with own teammates. When things getting messed-up/busy- like talking to the walk-in customers or when there is an important discussion- we all knew exactly how to jump in and support each other. CPHI given the feeling inspired and motivation, with new contacts, ideas to carry forward. You might be an API manufacturer, supplier, distributor or FDF- CPHI is enough to meet every bodies NEED!

As one of my big projects for this year - Selectchemie’s presence and marketing activities at CPHI - comes to a close - I have had some time to reflect on the wild ride it has been - from the early planning stages to the execution. Anybody that has worked in events knows that no amount of organising and planning for eventualities and different scenarios can truly prepare you for the things that often end up happening once « showtime » comes around. For me these were the keys in managing unforeseen challenges that needed quick solutions: 🔑 Having a solid plan but remaining flexible. Things are not going to work out exactly according to the script but it helps immensely to have a compass that helps you find north and make quick decisions that are directionally right. 🔑 In moments of calm - thinking one step ahead to try to anticipate problems that may arise so you buy yourself time to craft « Plan B » or « Plan C » 🔑 Thinking outside the box and being open to creative solutions that solve the problem pragmatically. 🔑 Having a team that is willing to put in the hours and get stuck in while maintaining a positive attitude. 🔑 Having a laugh when things do not go according to plan - shaking it off quickly - moving on and quickly going back into problem solving mode. Grateful for the Selectchemie team that made this year’s CPHI a success! At the 9th Iran Pharma exhibition, I had the privilege of leading the CinnaGen team in designing an interactive and engaging experience to celebrate our 30-year journey. Together, we crafted a booth that showcased our contributions to patient care and scientific progress, with every detail emphasizing our central theme: "There is a dose of Hope✨ in every vial." Our aim was to create an immersive experience for visitors, with multimedia displays, and expert discussions that highlighted our innovation in biologics. We ensured that our brand message, "Our Ambition is Beyond Imagination," resonated throughout the event, inspiring all who attended. To further enhance engagement, I designed activities such as a word search puzzle embedded in drinks labels and the "Vial of Knowledge," trivia, a daily raffle featuring a health-related quiz as part of our CSR initiative. These initiatives not only created memorable experiences but also reinforced our commitment to health education and innovation. Additionally, we partnered with a student-led group to host a game celebrating CinnaGen’s 30-year milestone, blending science and interactive questions. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my amazing team Darya Jalini & Asma Anvari whose hard work and dedication made these outstanding results possible despite the challenges we faced.
